Highlights: Apple’s media event September 1

Today was a fantastic day for all apple enthusiasts and users. Apple released some new out of this world products and introduced some breath taking software for their systems. We followed the updates at engadget’s live stream of the event. Due to the live stream was not working at our end.

Now to outline the main news from the event:

• iOS 4.1
• New Apple tv
• Airplay
• New iPod Shuffle
• New iPod Nano
• New iPod Touch
• iTunes 10
• Ping (a social network for music)

We will be getting into more detail with some of these products, but for now we suggest you watch the keynote or check apples website for more details. It truly was an amazing event due to  very big updates. All I can say for now is that I wish I had been there…
