Xpad laptop cooler- cool your mac and your lap
Laptops these days are getting more and more powerful; even the mid-range models are sporting multi-core processors and are carrying out very intensive work that is causing the processors to overheat and no doubt this heat has to go somewhere. On Mac laptops the vents are located on the underside of the body and all this heat can’t be good for your knees and lap. Fortunately there is a product that will prevent this. It’s call the Xpad laptop cooler.
So how does this work? Well it features 4 vents on each corner and these take in the heat and vent it out again. The handy thing about the Xpad laptop cooler is that it requires no power and makes no noise.
Having been a user of many different laptop coolers, I have always found that the fans built into cooling pads sound very loud and this can be disturbing to other people close by and can be distracting for the user. This is a big advantage of the Xpad; there is no mechanical moving parts meaning no unnecessary noise.
The look of the Xpad is sleek in design.the main face is a matte silver colored plastic with 4 rubber pads. Each of the rubber pads covers a heat pocket where the heat is vented. There is a several layers of thermal insulation
The body is built with ergonomics in mind. It feels comfortable on your lap and it’s almost as if you are not using it at all with the laptop. The rubber pads on the face of the cooler means your laptop is extremely safe from slipping off. This could be used at an angle, within reason, perhaps a 40 degree angle at most.
The Xpad for Laptop currently retails for $24.95 and is a cheap laptop cooler compared to others on the market today!

I actually have an xpad. It’s just a piece of plastic that sits under your notebook. I don’t recommend it…sorry.
