Cram: An easier way to study on your Mac
When studying for tests or exams, do you ever feel overwhelmed by lack of organization or time? Do you ever wish that all of your materials were more neatly presented to you? The application Cram does this by efficiently organizing your study materials right on your Macintosh.
Users of Cram are presented with three blocks of icons across the top of the application window. The first block handles the creating and editing of tests. The second allows for studying and review of these tests. The third and most intuitive block allows users to upload their own tests as well as download those that others have created.
The making of tests is somewhat flawed as it takes quite a bit of time to do so. One time saving method users are granted is the ability to use the “Answer Bank”, which fills up possible answer choices without having to insert them manually.
The “Study” button presents users with a flash-card-like window with the option to flip the card over, reverse the cards and move through them. The “Start Test” button opens up a window were users are given a multiple choice test. The “History” button shows past test results.

The “Test Portal”, where users can download tests others have created, is in it’s beginning stages so a large variety of tests are not present. However, tests do download quickly and uploads are even faster.
Cram is a useful application that I would recommend to upper-level students with a large amount of exams, tests, or quizzes to study for. The test sharing is a nice feature to have, however the lack of variety among tests makes it somewhat inapplicable. Cram can be found for 35 USD from SimpleLeap Software LLC.

Looks like a great application for a student that wants to get his study done!
