Windosill – A Simple, Easygoing Game.

Windosill is a beautiful little flash written game, with simplicity and innovation riddled into the code. Windosill will take you to beautifully designed places, lands of childhood perils and little friendly faces along the way. With no story to the game, Windosill allows your mind to wonder to the mysterious lands in the beautifully designed plat former.

Whilst scouring the internet to find some new games to play – I stumbled upon this gem. The game is a flash based point and click game, and is easily manageable.

Windosill isn’nt hard, but requires for the player to think in new ways, ways that your brain has never thought before. Instead of pointing out the obvious, the designers and coders obviously made the answers to the fun little puzzles simplistically subliminal. The answers to the questions are always hidden, always somewhere completely obvious but always blended into the pixel perfect game.

In Windosill, you control a little truck who has to move from room to room whilst working with the interface within it. Point and clicking, dragging and dropping are the main little ways to control your truck. You get to control plants, letters, robots, the wind, blocks and many other little object that bring back memories of childhood.

There’s no actual story to the game, just a fun, relaxing and definitely easy going little app, sure to calm you down after a long day. This is better because if you leave the game and come back, there’s nothing to remember or characters to familiarize yourself with.

Although the app is extremely good, there are a few things which I found annoying. Although I searched throughout the UI, I couldn’t find a ‘Save’ feature, which incredibly frustrating. Also, it runs on flash, which means it’s not written specifically for Mac – but the upside is that there’s a Windows version too!

Besides that, Windosill is a fantastic little app from Vectorpark. and I did highly enjoy playing it. It is a cross-platform which gives everyone a chance. I really did enjoy the main point of this game and found it quite interesting. This is definitely a game worth checking out and its great to use for those times when you get bored.
