Lock your mac but keep your work in progress?
Do you ever find yourself wanting to leave your mac on its own and locked, but while keeping your apps still running? MacLoc is the solution! All you have to do is simply click on the application and your mac is locked and safe. This is an easier and safer way to keep all your work in progress but while leaving your Mac on its own.
If you work in a busy work environment and just want to keep your work private, then this is the app you need. MacLoc acts as if you perform a log out of the user. But this application really could not be any more simple. All you do is open it up, then it does a cube effect (transition) to the right showing the user logged out screen menu. All you have to do is log back in to access it. What I really like about this application is the fact that there is not setting it up and no preferences. I mean it really is just a matter of opening up the application. I just can not stress enough, just how simple this application is.
There truly is not much to say about this application due to it being so simple. But if you don’t believe me, try MacLoc out yourself. MacLoc comes in two different versions, MacLoc and MacLoc ME (Menu Edition). I did not get a chance to try out MacLoc ME but from what I read it seems to just give you access to the application through the menu bar. This amazing little application is free, so there is no excuse not to try it!
