StuntMania: A 3D car stunt driving game!

Do you ever get bored with just doing every day things on your mac? Do you find it frustrating when you have nothing to do on your mac? StuntMania is the answer. StuntMania is a fast paced 3D car stunt driving game, where you can perform amazing stunts, tricks and challenges. StuntMania offers amazing graphics and it is a very easy to learn game.

When you open up StuntMania, you have the offer to select what screen resolution and graphics quality you would like the game to preform at. This would be very useful if you were on a less powerful mac, so that it does not max out your CPU. With these features it also ensures that you get the most out of your game. I find this configuration window at the start up very helpful, due to if I have a lot of windows open, I will just make StuntMania a smaller window. If you choose StuntMania to perform at fantastic graphics quality, it is mind blowing how good the graphics are. I am just so impressed with the performance of this game. You are also able to select the “Input” which is the game controls, so if you are use to a different keyboard layout this will come in use.

So once you have selected the configuration of StuntMania, you are brought to the options menu. Here you can select which car to use, which level to play and what time you want the game to be set at (Day or Night). StuntMania offers nine different cars to choose from, which are; Striker, Zorg, Hummer, General, Razor, Flame, Buzz, Strike and Truk. When it comes to the amazing levels in StuntMania there are eleven to choose from, and they all feature stunt and trick ramps, bonuses and hidden challenges. The levels that I found most interesting to play would have included Trixster Park, Construction City and Egyptian Sands.

Below the Car, Level and Time selection, you can choose which game play you would like to use, which are “Just Go Crazy”, “Timed Games” and “Challenge Games”. Also below the game play selections are Instructions on how to play, High Scores, About Sector3 Games, Game Options and Quit. In the game options you can adjust the steering controls, music and sound controls, display options, visual quality, saving options and the help system.

StuntMania also features so great powerups once in game play. These powerups would include Mega Drift, Gravity, Nitro, Teleport, Mirror and Supper Jump. Out of all the powerups the most useful from my point of view would be Mega Drift and Gravity, due to Mega Drift allows you to drift in air (after jumping or going over a ramp). Gravity allows you to increase your airtime and jump height! You can find all these powerups in game play by going over jumps and in hard to get to places.
