Sell your stuff on eBay the easy way

GarageSale IconGarageSale by iwascoding is a fantastic application that will help you to create fantastic looking auctions with ease. It can also help organize your sale from Auction to Dispatch in an easy to use and intuitive interface. We all probably have some unwanted junk that’s lying around collecting dust. One of the really good things to do would be to sell it all on eBay, and make a little money doing so. But sometimes, to create a professional looking auction that will stand out can be difficult and can be a very long process.

However, GarageSale has to be one of the most easiest to use and intuitive ways to sell your stuff online. To get started, all you need to do is select one of the 130 designs of theme, enter in your information, add in some pictures and upload!

To choose a theme, just select it from the “Cover Flow” view in the top pane, each theme has placeholders for images and text, so its very easy to create an eBay listing. To edit your auction, just head over to the Editor Mode, where you’ll be able to add in the information required, and also add HTML code of say, for example, a YouTube video.
GarageSale Window
One of the really nice features of GarageSale is that you don’t have to host your images on eBay’s Picture Service (EPS) which eBay charge you for. Instead you can host your images on your MobileMe account, your WebDAV or FTP server, or by using GarageSale’s Free Picture Service (Which does have some limitations). This can really help you save money hosting your images. If you ever need to edit our change an aspect of an image, GarageSale includes a feature-rich image editor, meaning you don’t have to use an outside application.

GarageSale InspectorOnce you’ve entered your auction description and the images you’d like to use, all you need to do is set-up your Auction, by select the Category, Start Bid, and any Enhancements you wish to add. This is all done in the Inspector window and all Enhancements that incur a charge are highlighted. This is very useful, and helps you keep your eBay hosting fees to a minimum.

After you’ve done entering your auction details, all thats left is to start your auction – Just click the Start Auction button! GarageSale will even tell you the costs involved before submitting it for auction, which is very nice. But, GarageSale’s functionality doesn’t stop there, it organizes auctions that need to be shipped or that need to have feedback left for them. It even integrates into the eBay messaging system to allow you to easily exchange messages between your potential buyers.

GarageSale is one of the simplest and easiest to use applications to create great looking eBay auctions for a very small cost. GarageSale sells for $34.99, or if you choose the Basic version its just $24.99 on the iwascoding website. Bear in mind however, some features are not available in the basic version, however, AppYourMac can’t recommend this application any higher to someone who’s looking to start selling on eBay.
